Breakfast Sausage Roll Recipe 





A golden, flaky puff pastry filled with savory sausage, scrambled eggs, and gooey cheese—this breakfast roll is the perfect way to start your day! 


1 sheet puff pastry, thawed 

1/2 lb ground breakfast sausage 

3 large eggs, scrambled 

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 

1/4 cup caramelized onions (optional) 

1 tbsp chopped green onions 

1 egg yolk (for egg wash) 

1 tbsp milk 

Salt & pepper to taste 



Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
Scramble the eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Mix the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese, and caramelized onions (if using).

Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Spread the sausage and egg mixture evenly in the center.
Carefully fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.

Whisk the egg yolk and milk together, then brush over the pastry for a golden finish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Let cool slightly, then slice and garnish with green onions. Serve warm!
